It delivers the ultimate SharePoint experience through three interfaces: (1) an Add-In for Microsoft® Outlook® for 2-way access, email drag-and-drop, and automatic metadata capture, (2) a Windows Explorer® extension for seamlessly linking folders on users' file systems with SharePoint document libraries, and (3) a standalone client for rich metadata management and instant SharePoint access, online and offline, for remote and mobile workers.
Users can easily save emails and attachments to SharePoint through Send & File, drag-and-drop, or Outlook rules. Entire Outlook folders can be copied to SharePoint. Email message fields are instantly captured and users can set content types and custom metadata. Emails are saved as .msg files with unique names.
Specific document libraries or folders are easily synched to Contributor interfaces with toolbar buttons. In Outlook, libraries are accessed through a folder tree. Documents and document sets are easily opened, edited, and saved. Documents can be created using document and form templates, or added via drag-and-drop. In-place records management is supported.
